英文のマニュアルを手打ちするのもめんどくさいので、Googleドキュメントで英文をOCRしてみる。

対応フォーマットは、JPEG, PNG, GIF, PDFの４種類。サイズは2MB以下である必要がある。 文字は10ピクセルより大きなものが必要。文書の上が画像の上になるものを容易すること。 何語の文字かはGoogle Driveが自動認識する。もとの英字は、Arial, Times, New Romanなどのフォントに最適化されている。映像は、シャープに写っていること。
なんか、条件多いな... 特にサイズ条件がキビシイわ。
テストに使ったファイル。テカっているところもあるけど、人間なら普通に読める。
Google Driveにアップロードする。
アップロードされた画像データを右クリックしてGoogle Docsで開く。
変換中は以下のようなアイコンが出て、少し開くのに時間がかかったが、変換結果は出ている。
今回は、ちょっとイジワルして、ファイルサイズを5MBくらいのものを使ってみたが、特に意に介さないようだw

右ページのも混じっているようだけど、使えそうな結果だ。
ボールドの部分が間違いや欠落。長い文書は行末を端折る問題がある感じ。それ以外は確実に読み込めている。無料なので、このくらいの精度が出てくれれば、まったく文句はない。
